Shoe design has officially taken a backseat seeing how school's taken over my life.

Anyway, learnt a little about tokidoki today. Pretty interesting stuff.

After a good 6 months of waiting patiently, shaun finally got his shoes 1 day before he flies off to melbourne. The initial plan was scrapped cos i tried to do it, but it didnt work. (sorry shaun). so instead, as a going-away gift, i decided to draw designs from the 2 gamecube games which he's best at: Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero.
and if that's not enough, i decided to give him contasting sides, one really girly side (with peach representing mario kart), and one more guy-ish side (represented by characters/art from guitar hero).
special mention goes to nat, david, tim, serene, bert, and tris for doing colouring!
nat and david gave colour to the words "guitar hero" and most of the peach side.

Did this pair by request for Chare's brother, Matt.. Brought a couple of pictures that he wanted to put on the shoes, and i tried my best to fit everything on. Converse All-Stars are a real pain cos they've got so little material to work on it's not even funny. But it turned out pretty alright i guess! i'm happy with it, and i hope he is too. haha
Did a pair for Joshua Lim's girlfriend, Gracia, for her birthday (it's today by the way). He really wanted the Little Miss pair again, but i didnt wanna make it look similar to the other, so i gave it differing background colours on each side, cos gracia likes purple and red. haha.
Just completed another pair for david kwok with an Asterix & Obelix theme. Took me about 6 hours to complete.. Very happy with how it turned out. The outer faces of the shoes are of asterix and obelix, dogmatix and a roman legionary's helmet, with their names splashed across the background. The inner faces are of the infamous pirates in the comic, and facing that is a picture of their boat exploding (which happens very often in the comic).
This was done a really long time ago for Sean for his birthday.. The foolscap paper is a good filler for the amount of space you have on slip-ons. this was one of the pairs i was really happy with.
